In the Spotlight: Cristina Simmons' Journey of Wellness & Transformation

Recent Podcast Interview

Cristina is a dedicated mother, wife, and professional who has built her career around helping others—especially women—transform their lives through holistic wellness. She earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy (OT) with a specialized clinical certification in autism spectrum disorder. This focus was inspired by her own experience raising her adopted son, who was diagnosed with autism at age four. Her deep connection to OT stemmed from the profession's emphasis on a holistic approach, which resonated with her values.

Cristina’s passion for holistic wellness grew as she faced personal challenges, particularly years of unresolved trauma that began to take a toll on her health and marriage. Her struggles with chronic pain, leaky gut, and the emotional toll of menopause pushed her to find solutions that went beyond traditional medicine. After 15 years in the fitness and nutrition space, she became a certified fitness/nutrition coach and group fitness instructor through the FasterWay to Fat Loss program. These experiences have equipped her to guide others through their own health journeys, particularly those navigating the physical and emotional complexities of menopause.

While Cristina works as a pediatric OT in the public school system by day, her true passion lies in helping women who face challenges similar to her own. She is currently in the editing phase of her book Eat Your Feelings, a self-help memoir that explores her personal healing journey and offers practical guidance through the E.A.T. Framework, a method she developed to help women heal emotionally and physically. Through free webinars, she shares the principles of this framework and how it transformed her life.

Cristina is also an aspiring speaker, with her next major engagement set for the Unstoppable Success Summit in Dallas, Texas, in April 2025. She speaks on topics such as grief, anxiety, holistic healing, and perseverance, positioning herself as an authority on how to overcome adversity and reclaim one's health and life. Her mission is to empower women to break free from emotional and physical struggles, showing them that healing is possible when you address both the mind and body.

Cristina’s work is grounded in compassion, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of holistic wellness to transform lives.
